Qualifications
Jay Hensleigh comes to inspecting homes from a different angle: that of a trained scientist. Holding a Master's Degree in fishery biology, Jay was trained to be thorough, methodical, and objective in his career. These qualities are well-suited for a masterful home inspector. Following his successful career as a biologist, he shifted gears to pursue interests in remodeling, construction, and wood working. It has now been over 10 years since he began working on new construction, remodeling and home maintenance projects, and over 5 years as a licensed contractor.
Jay is an active member of the Oregon Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) and currently serves on the board of directors for that group.
