Qualifications
Jay Hensleigh has been a contractor and handyman for more than 10 years and has hands-on experience building, remodeling, and repairing homes. The combination of this experience and classroom training makes Jay an exceptional home inspector. He continues to gain hands-on knowledge and experience filling in his schedule with home maintenance and repair projects, often repairing issues found by other home inspectors.
Jay also brings a fresh angle to home inspection: that of a trained scientist. Holding a Master's Degree in fishery biology, Jay was trained to be thorough, methodical, and objective in his first career path. These qualities are well-suited for a masterful home inspector.
Jay is an active member of the Oregon Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) and currently serves on the board of directors for that group. He is an Associate Member of The American Society of Home Inspectors.
